This is an Ardbeg 16 Year Old from 1990, a single cask bottling released to mark the 300th anniversary of Fortnum & Mason. It came from a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, cask number 86, and was drawn on 11 April 2007. Bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, it made 300 individually numbered bottles, each signed by the distillery manager. It is described as combining Ardbeg's tarry peat with Oloroso richness, dried fruit, chocolate and warming oak spice.
