This is a 21 year old Islay single malt from Ardbeg, released to celebrate the distillery completing its renovation and re-opening the Ardbeg House Hotel in Port Ellen. It was bottled on 5 February 2025 at 52.9% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
Only 800 bottles were filled, each individually numbered.
Ardbeg is known for rich, sooty and tarry smoke set against a citric sweet core, with a clean, acidic fruitiness and an oily texture from the purifier pipe on the spirit still.
