Ardbeg Scorch is a limited edition Islay single malt released for Feis Ile in 2021. It is matured in intensely charred ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The nose combines roasted barley and bonfire smoke, with a hint of clove coming later. On the palate there is soot and salty liquorice, with toasted brown sugar adding some sweetness. The finish is long and richly smoky.
