Ardbeg Still Young is an 8 year old Islay single malt, bottled in 2006 at 56.2% ABV. It is the second release on Ardbeg's path to its 10 year old, following a first bottling in 2004, and it remains peaty and gristy.
The aroma is peaty, with hints of classic Ardbeg limes. In the mouth there is tar creaminess and pepperiness, with flavours of fruit, vanilla, toffee apples and treacle toffee. Overall it is sweet, malty and smoky.
