Ardbeg Traigh Bhan is a 19 year old Islay single malt, released as Batch 1 and bottled at 46.2% ABV. It was matured in American oak and Oloroso sherry casks.
The name comes from Traigh Bhan beach on Islay, known locally as the Singing Sands, which inspired this small batch release.
The nose brings herbal pine resin, smoky pineapple and dark chilli chocolate. On the palate, peaty power and smoke lead the way. The finish carries toasted oak and paprika, gentle and long-lasting.
