Ardbeg – Uigeadail Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl)

Ardbeg Uigeadail is a single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, pronounced 'Oog-a-dal', in a 750ml bottle. It takes its name from Loch Uigeadail, the distillery's water source. It is a vatting of whisky matured in ex-bourbon American oak, which brings deep smoky notes, and ex-sherry Oloroso casks, which add a raisin-like richness. The result pairs sweetness and spice with Ardbeg's smokiness. The palate opens sweet, like Christmas cake, then moves to winter spices and smoke, with honey-glazed smoked food and chewy treacle in the middle. The smoky tones build in waves.
