The Ardphroaig - Mutant on Guard is an 11 year old Ardmore from Brave New Spirits, made for Whiskyheroes. It is bottled at 55.6% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour.
The whisky matured fully in a second fill Laphroaig whisky barrel, which widens Ardmore's spicy, smoky character. Medicinal notes, maritime smoke and peat ash join the earthy, robust Ardmore style.
The palate is described as powerful and intense, yet well structured.
