Ardmore – 12 Year Old Seyton Household Series Macbeth Act One (70cl, 52.5%)

Ardmore 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 52.5% for the Seyton Household Series, Macbeth Act One. The release was 3,200 bottles. The whisky matured in casks that previously held heavily peated Islay whisky, which adds a layer of smokiness to Ardmore's mineral character. It is one of ten whiskies chosen to portray Macbeth's household in a series inspired by the Scottish play, with artwork by Sir Quentin Blake. It is described as fresh and herbaceous, with pine needles, woody herbs and a lingering note of chocolate mint.
