This is a 12 year old Ardmore single malt, bottled at 46% and not chill-filtered. It has a ruby-gold colour.
The whisky was matured twice: in bourbon casks of American white oak, then in European half port pipes. The result is a light, sweet spirit balancing fruity and smoky notes.
Sweet red apple and honey are described, with the subtlest touch of charcoal smoke.
