Ardmore – 14 Year Old 2011 Signatory Vintage 100 Proof Edition #62 (70cl, 57.1%)

This is a 14 year old Ardmore single malt from the Highlands, distilled in 2011 and bottled by Signatory Vintage in 2025 as 100 Proof Edition #62. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 57.1%, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky spent all fourteen years in second-fill Oloroso sherry butts, which add dried fruit, dark chocolate and spice alongside the lightly peated malt's dry, ashy smoke. The nose combines citrus and forest honey with creamy vanilla, dark chocolate and dried fruit, over a fine peat smoke. On the palate, juicy orange and spiced dried fruit meet dark chocolate in a dense, oily body, with ashy peat and a touch of iodine. The finish is long, spicy and dry, and the ashy smoke lingers.
