This is a 16 year old single malt from Ardmore in the Highlands, bottled by Signatory Vintage as part of its Cask Strength Collection at 56.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is a single cask release, cask no. 2, filled after distillation on 2 November 2009 and finished in a first fill PX sherry hogshead. It was bottled on 15 July 2026, producing 314 bottles, without colouring or chill-filtering.
The nose offers intense smoke with raisins, figs, spice and a touch of vanilla. The palate is full, with smoky peat, sweet dark fruit, creamy vanilla and mild oak tannins. The finish is long, smoky and sherry-sweet, ending in gentle dryness with cocoa and ash.
