A heavily peated Highland single malt from Ardmore, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2018 at nine years old by Wilson & Morgan. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks, which bring vanilla to a creamy, velvety body beneath the smoke.
The nose opens with soot, tar and peat smoke, like a pine wood bonfire, alongside mint, camphor and resin. On the palate come honey, chamomile, beeswax and sweet liquorice. The finish brings green banana and lemon peel.
