This is a 12-year-old Ardmore from Lady of the Glen, finished in a refill Oloroso quarter cask and bottled at 59.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is bottled without dilution, added colouring or chill filtration.
Peat smoke meets red apple, burnt toffee and herbs, with a gentle sherry influence and a powerful but balanced character.
The nose offers fresh red apple skin, burnt toffee, smoked herbs and soft oak. On the palate it is full-bodied, with baked apple, toffee and herbal peat smoke, tightened by gentle Oloroso spice. The finish is medium to long, with soft smoke, burnt toffee, dry oak and smoked herbs.
