Ardmore Legacy is a lightly peated Highland single malt from The Ardmore, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is made from a mix of peated and unpeated malt whiskies and matured in American oak barrels. The distillery uses traditional coal-fired stills.
The nose combines sweet vanilla, honey and soft charcoal smoke with toasted oats and light spice. Honeyed malt, subtle citrus and gentle peat smoke run through the palate. The finish is medium to long, fading into soft spice and vanilla with a delicate wisp of smoke.
