Ardmore Legacy Lightly Peated is a single malt Scotch released in 2014 to replace Ardmore Traditional. It is made from a malt mix of 80% peated and 20% unpeated malt, and is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is more savoury than sweet, with light barbecue char and earthy notes, then cinnamon, honey and vanilla toffee. On the palate come more char and smoke, drying oak, pear drops and a grassy touch, with citrus zest and heather after a short wait. The finish is long and peaty, with a little honeyed barley.
