Ardmore Legacy is a Highland whisky from the Ardmore distillery in Kennethmont, founded in 1898 by Adam Teacher. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV and belongs to the distillery's standard range.
It matured in bourbon casks, then went on to further maturation in quarter casks. The smoke comes from Highland peat only.
The nose combines heather and honey with a sweet hint of cinnamon and toffee, and a gentle peat smoke. The palate is soft and creamy, with vanilla, sweet honey, spice and light smoke. The finish is long and gentle, with delicate spice and a little peat smoke.
