This is a Highland single malt from Ardmore, a distillery founded in 1898 by William Teacher & Sons. It combines peated and unpeated whiskies, with Highland peat used for the smoke.
The whisky was given additional maturation in traditional quarter casks.
The nose offers heather, honey and light smoke, with a touch of cinnamon and toffee. On the palate, creamy vanilla, sweet honey and spice meet a pleasant smokiness. The finish is soft, long and dry, with spice.
