Armorik Double Maturation is a Breton single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is matured first in oak casks made from wood grown in the local forests of Brittany, then moved into sherry butts for a second maturation.
The nose balances fruit, with lemon and pear, against vanilla and spice. On the palate it is soft and smooth, with spicy and woody notes developing and a good body. The finish is spicy and lightly smoky.
