This is a single cask single malt from the Castan distillery in Occitanie, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is made from malted barley grown in the fields around the distillery, double distilled in copper stills and aged in a cask that previously held white wine.
The colour is amber with golden glints. The nose is delicately floral and fruity, with dried fruit, honey and vanilla. The palate opens creamy, with a smooth middle and a soft sweetness, and brings caramel, spice and candied fruit. The finish is long and persistent.
