A French single malt from the Castan distillery in Occitanie, bottled from a single cask at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered.
The whisky was matured twice: first in a new American oak cask that had held bourbon, then in an ex-white-wine cask.
The nose is woody and vanilla-led, with toasted notes and white pepper. The palate is very long, creamy and fruity, and the finish is aromatic, with William pear.
