Armorik Dervenn is a 10 year old French single malt, aged in Breton oak casks and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition, with 2000 bottles released worldwide.
The nose is powerful and complex, with honeyed pastries and passion fruit alongside leather, caramelised sugar and cinnamon. On the palate the honeyed sweetness is pronounced, and the richer notes move on to liquorice and figs with a full volume.
The finish is very long and spicy, bringing out a smoky side that meets the fruit of the distillate.
