Armorik Double Maturation Breton Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Armorik Double Maturation is a Breton single malt from Distillerie Warenghem in Lannion, Brittany, in a 70cl bottle. It is made from organically grown French barley and double-distilled in pot stills. The whisky matures first in locally produced Breton oak casks, then in Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. The nose is mirabelle plum and citrus with spice and vanilla. The palate is soft and rounded, with honey, ripe fruit and gentle wood, and the finish is very long, with spice, biscuit and orange marmalade.
