Armorik Sherry Cask

Armorik Sherry Cask is a single malt from the Warenghem distillery on the north coast of Brittany, the home of the first Breton single malt. It is made from French barley and Breton wheat and double distilled in copper pot stills. Warenghem was built in 1900, is independent and has been family-owned for over a hundred years. It handles brewing, fermenting, distilling, maturing and bottling itself. The nose is round and warm, with candied fruit and a hint of chocolate. The palate is lively with fine wood, growing rounder with grain notes. The finish is long and pleasant, gently spiced and refreshing.
