Armorik Yeun Elez is a peated Breton single malt from Distillerie Warenghem in Brittany, introduced in 2020. It is made with Scottish malted barley peated to 50 PPM, water from the distillery's own source and pot still distillation.
The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV.
The nose is medicinal peat, camphor and cloves, with banana, cooked peach and creamy pastry. The palate brings rounded smoke, fresh citrus and a subtle saltiness. The finish is long, iodized and spicy, ending in warm wood-fire smoke.
