Arran – 14 Years

Arran 14 Years is a single malt from the Isle of Arran distillery, matured mainly in ex-bourbon casks with a touch of Palo Cortado sherry casks. The sherry brings its own elegance to a bourbon-cask base, and the balance between the two is the point of the bottling. It forms part of the core range of Arran single malts. The nose offers rich fruit syrup with apples and mandarins, cereal sweetness and a gentle coastal saltiness. The palate is warming, with caramel, hazelnuts and dark chocolate, then orange peel and spiced cake. The finish is medium in length, with cinnamon, sea salt and sweet fruit.
