This is a 17-year-old single malt from Arran, released as a one-off edition of 12,000 bottles. It is an age-statement bottling within the distillery's core range.
The whisky was matured in equal parts first fill and second fill ex-sherry hogsheads and first fill bourbon barrels. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose offers green apple and orchard fruit, butterscotch and a touch of toasted oak. The palate brings orange peel, vanilla, nutmeg, caramel, orchard fruit and blackberries. The finish is soft and lingering, with almond, creamy vanilla and a hint of cinnamon.
