Arran 17 Years Limited Edition is a 17-year-old single malt from the Isle of Arran, bottled in 2023 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is an edition of 12,000 bottles, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky matured in equal parts first and second fill ex-sherry hogsheads and first fill bourbon barrels.
On the nose come green apple and orchard fruit, with butterscotch and a little toasted oak. The palate is soft and lingering, with almond, creamy vanilla and a hint of cinnamon, and the long finish balances butterscotch with a gentle oak presence.
