A ten-year-old single malt from the Arran distillery, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle under the Machrie Moor name. The distillery lies at the north-western tip of the Isle of Arran, between the west coast of Scotland and the Kintyre peninsula. It began production in 1995, later than planned, because a pair of golden eagles was nesting on the very spot chosen for the buildings. Harold Currie built it, realising a dream after many successful years in the whisky industry, where he rose to become a director at Chivas.
