This Arran single malt from 2013 was matured in a sherry hogshead and marks the 120th anniversary of Flickenschild. It is a distillery bottling at 59% in a 70cl bottle. Arran lies on the island of the same name, between the west coast of Scotland and the Kintyre peninsula. The distillery began production in 1995, later than planned, because a pair of golden eagles was nesting on the site chosen for it. It was built by Harold Currie, a former Chivas director.
