Arran 18 Year Old is a single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It spent close to two decades maturing in sherry casks.
The sherry influence adds richer, spicy, almost Christmassy notes alongside a fresh, fruity character.
The nose offers syrupy peaches, green apple and toasty oak. On the palate come vanilla rice pudding and brown sugar, with orange blossom, allspice and candied ginger. The finish brings plenty of melted chocolate, citrus peel and bread and butter pudding.
