The Arran 18 Years is a single malt from Lochranza Distillery on the Isle of Arran, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was established in 1995 and makes unpeated whisky. This one was matured for eighteen years in oak casks.
The nose offers ripe pear, honey, citrus zest and vanilla. On the palate are orchard fruit, caramel, baking spices and oak. The finish is long and warming, with lingering fruit and gentle spice.
