Arran 25 Years Old is a single malt from the Arran distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery stands on the Isle of Arran, between the west coast of Scotland and the Kintyre peninsula. It came into operation in 1995, later than planned, because a pair of golden eagles was nesting on the very spot chosen for it. Harold Currie built the distillery, realising a dream after a long career in the whisky industry that took him as far as a directorship at Chivas.
