Arran Barrel Reserve is a single malt distilled on the Isle of Arran and bottled at 43% ABV.
It is matured entirely in first-fill bourbon barrels.
The nose is fresh and grassy-sweet, with lemon tart, biscuity malt and sour apple peel. The palate is malty, with cinnamon cereal, vanilla fudge and green apple alongside a faint sea breeze. The finish brings vanilla oak and plenty of aromatic spice, with salted caramel and a handful of orchard fruit.
