This is Arran Machrie Moor Cask Strength, a single malt bottled at cask strength and offered in a 70cl bottle.
It is sweet and honeyed, with juicy green orchard fruits and a dab of cream. The body is light, and the alcohol is very well controlled.
Smoke curls in and out of the whisky, bringing to mind charred wood onto which fat from barbecued meat has dripped.
Tasting Notes
