Arran – Machrie Moor

Machrie Moor is a lightly peated single malt from the Arran distillery, bottled without chill-filtering or added colour. It is a limited edition named after the windswept peat moor on the west coast of the Isle of Arran, where standing stones and stone circles date back to the Bronze Age. The nose offers caramel, coconut and spice with a fine note of peat smoke. On the palate, citrus, spice, fruit and cardamom gradually give way to a peaty taste. The finish is long and warming, with a clear note of smoke.
