A 9-year-old peated single malt from the Isle of Arran, matured entirely in first-fill bourbon casks and bottled at 55% ABV. The distillery stands at Lochranza on the island's northern tip and was founded in 1995.
On the nose there are Werther's Originals, candied lemon, citrus peel and soft vanilla caramel. The palate brings pineapple gummies, grilled peach and honeydew melon, with a light thread of smoke. The finish is bright and lingering, with echoes of bonfire and fruit.
