Arran Quarter Cask is a single malt from Isle of Arran Distillers, based at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran, off the west coast of Scotland.
It was matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for a further two years in American oak quarter casks. The result is a full-bodied malt.
The nose pairs creamy vanilla and cinnamon with bold, peppery spice. On the palate come honey, coconut, pineapple and vanilla, with black pepper, ginger and oak spice.
