Arran – 10 Year Old

Arran 10 Year Old is a single malt from Isle of Arran Distillers, one of the few independent distilleries remaining in Scotland. It is made at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran, off the west coast between Ayrshire and Kintyre, by a company set up by Harold Currie, formerly Managing Director of Chivas. The whisky opens with rich vanilla sweetness, followed by a touch of cinnamon that adds a spicy edge to a soft, sweet texture. The citrus notes familiar from Arran have rounded with age, and sit alongside apple against a background of sweet oak.
