Arran Port Cask Finish is a single malt from the Isle of Arran, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle and supplied in a tin. It matured in ex-bourbon casks, then spent time in port casks from Portugal's Douro Valley.
The port finish is one of the expressions now part of the Arran core range, and it brings intense fruit to the malt.
The nose offers vanilla, spice and citrus wrapped in nuts, with sweet mandarin and fine caramel behind. On the palate, baked apple, raisins and cinnamon give a round, warming impression. The finish is long and sweet, with firm malt.
