A single malt from the Arran distillery, matured in quarter casks and bottled at 56.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle under the name The Bothy.
The distillery lies at the north-western tip of the Isle of Arran, between the west coast of Scotland and the Kintyre peninsula. Production began in 1995, delayed because a pair of golden eagles was nesting where the buildings were due to go. It was built by Harold Currie, who had been a director at Chivas after a long career in the whisky industry.
