This is a blended Scotch whisky from Arran, created in honour of the Scottish writer Robert Burns. The World Burns Federation has officially approved it.
It is amber-gold in colour. The nose brings raspberries and almond tart, with hints of toasted oak and toffee. On the palate it is dry and light, with sweet apples and liquorice and a faint breath of peat smoke in the background. The finish is fresh and warming.
