Arran – Sherry Cask The Bodega

Arran Sherry Cask The Bodega is a single malt from the Isle of Arran distillery, matured for 7 years in first-fill sherry hogsheads. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The bottling belongs to a new series in a new design, launched in September 2019. It returns to the style of some of the earliest Arran single malts, which were mostly matured in sherry casks. On the nose there are chocolate-covered raisins, mandarins and a touch of spice. The palate brings ripe figs and sweet cherries, balanced between the sherry cask and the Arran spirit. The finish is long, with pink pepper, hazelnuts and toasted oak.
