This single malt from Arran was matured first in traditional oak casks over a number of years, then finished in Amarone wine casks. The wine casks were sourced from an artisan producer of Amarone in the Veneto region of Italy.
It is an older bottling of the Amarone Cask Finish, from around 2010, in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV.
