This is a ten-year-old single malt from Auchentoshan, a Lowland distillery whose whisky is triple distilled. It dates from the 1980s.
The colour is straw, and the nose is pleasantly grassy and floral, light and fresh. On the palate there are fresh oranges and a little barley sugar, followed by lavender sweets and liquorice allsorts. The finish is of medium length.
