An 18-year-old Lowland single malt from Auchentoshan, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is triple distilled and was matured for eighteen years in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks. The nose opens with fresh tobacco leaf, then sweetness layered with caramelised sugar, green tea and roasted almonds. The palate has honeyed sweetness, fresh spice and woody notes, and the finish is long, lingering and balanced.
