This is an Aultmore single malt from Speyside, bottled by Duncan Taylor for its Dimensions series. It was distilled in September 2008, matured in a sherry cask and bottled in June 2020 as an 11 year old, in a 70cl bottle.
It is one of 276 bottles, bottled at a natural cask strength of 55.4% ABV, non-chill filtered and uncoloured.
The nose brings blackberry pie, green apple and rich honey, with a bright, slightly herbal edge. The palate offers toffee, dark chocolate and toasted brioche with raisins, in a syrupy texture. The finish is long, sweet and a little gingery, with vintage orange marmalade and toasted almonds.
