This is a 12 year old Aultmore single malt, distilled in May 2013 and bottled in August 2025 by North Star at 57.7%. It is a single cask release of 251 bottles.
The whisky matured in a first-fill hogshead for its whole life.
The nose is fresh with orchard fruit, pear drops, malted honey, vanilla and light oak spice. The palate is full and oily, with sweet barley, green apples, caramel, toasted almonds and warm pepper. The finish is long and warm, with fruit, malty sweetness and soft oak spice.
