This is a 15-year-old Speyside single malt from Aultmore, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle as a limited edition. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The whisky matured in American refill hogsheads and then spent six months in Marsala Rubino Dolce casks, which add intense fruit and a fine tannin structure.
The nose is fruity and lightly sweet with a gentle spice. On the palate come cherries, plums and pomegranate, and the finish brings red fruit with tannins from the Marsala cask.
