This is a 9 year old Aultmore from The Whisky Chamber, distilled on 3 April 2008 and bottled on 30 January 2018. It matured in an ex-bourbon hogshead, and 229 bottles were filled. The nose offers creamy toffee, gently sweet sherry notes and a hint of woodruff. The palate is equally gently sweet, with fruits steeped in sherry and toasted coconut. The finish is of medium length, with lightly spiced wood and a pleasant sherry sweetness.
