Aultmore – 2009-2025 15 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice Single Cask 4679 (70cl, 57.3%)

This is a 15-year-old single cask Aultmore, a Speyside single malt distilled in 2009 and bottled on 5th March 2025 by Gordon & MacPhail for its Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range. It comes in a 70cl bottle at a natural cask strength of 57.3% ABV. It was matured in a first-fill Bourbon barrel, cask 4679, which yielded 200 bottles. The whisky is natural colour and bottled without chill filtration. Aultmore was founded in 1897 near Keith. Tasting notes describe lemon zest, gorse flowers and apricot jam on the nose. The palate offers pineapple, baked apple and crystallised violets, and the medium-bodied finish shows sweet tropical fruit.
